NEWWELL Mattifying Make Up Baseis a mattifying silicone primer– the first step in the makeup routine that optimizes all subsequent steps. The mechanism of action: Cyclopentasiloxane and Dimethiconeform a light, invisible silicone film over pores and imperfections – pores are visually filled, the skin surface becomes velvety smooth. Foundation then adheres to the primer film and not to sebum and skin pores – it stays on noticeably longer without slipping and without T-zone shine. Micaas a soft-focus mineral pigment visually minimizes pores and fine lines for a naturally smoother, poreless-looking complexion under foundation. Caprylic/Capric Triglycerideensures the pleasant, light texture that spreads thinly and evenly. Glyceryl Stearate and Cetyl Alcoholstabilize the primer emulsion for even application and skin-nourishing properties. The NEWWELL make-up system

• Step 1 – Mattifying Make Up Base (Primer):Silicone film smooths and visually minimizes pores – foundation base for maximum hold and a matte finish.
• Step 2 – Derma Cover Foundation / Derma BB Cream:Foundation or BB Cream adheres to the primer film for all-day, even wear.
• Step 3 – Make Up Fixator (Setting Spray):Polymer film seals the entire look for 24 hours, waterproof and sweatproof, as final protection.

Application

• Step 1 – Cleanse:Wash face with cleanser and pat dry. Optionally, apply moisturizer and let it fully absorb before applying primer.
• Step 2 – Apply thinly:A pea-sized dot is enough for the entire face. Spread thinly with fingers or a primer brush on the T-zone, pore areas, and cheeks. Less is more – thick primer will not set well.
• Step 3 – Wait 5 minutes:Do not apply foundation immediately – wait 5 minutes until the dimethicone film has fully set. Cyclopentasiloxane evaporates during this time, leaving the primer film on the skin.
• Step 4 – Apply foundation:Gently dab in foundation, BB cream, or powder foundation – do not rub. The primer film adheres to the foundation and prevents it from shifting all day long.
• Tip – Solo without foundation:The primer also works alone as a light shine controller – mica soft focus evens out the complexion and visually minimizes pores for a natural matte finish without makeup.

Active Ingredients

• Cyclopentasiloxane: Volatile silicone solvent – distributes the primer evenly and thinly on the skin and then fully evaporates within 5 minutes. This evaporation is the reason for the 5-minute waiting period: only after Cyclopentasiloxane has evaporated does the permanent Dimethicone primer film set – the evaporation is not a fault but the desired effect of primer technology.
• Dimethicone: The core of the silicone primer – remains on the skin as a permanent, invisible film after the Cyclopentasiloxane has evaporated. Dimethicone visually fills pores, fine lines, and imperfections for a velvety smooth surface. Foundation adheres to this film instead of sebum and skin – this is the physical reason why foundation with primer lasts measurably longer. Non-comedogenic – does not clog pores despite being silicone-based.
• Mica (Soft-Focus Mineral Pigment): Natural mica pigment with unique light-scattering properties – visually minimizes pores and fine lines through multi-directional light refraction. The soft-focus effect makes the skin appear smoother and more poreless under foundation than it actually is – an optical blurring effect directly in the primer formula. Even alone without foundation, Mica gives the complexion a naturally even, matte finish.
• Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: Plant-based triglyceride from coconut oil – gives the primer its characteristic, light and non-greasy texture that spreads thinly and evenly over the face. Enables an even distribution of the silicone film without patchiness or uneven coverage of individual areas.
• Glyceryl Stearate & Cetyl Alcohol: Emulsifiers and consistency agents – stabilize the primer emulsion for even application and texture. Glyceryl Stearate, as a natural emulsifier, improves skin compatibility and provides nourishing properties. Cetyl Alcohol, as a fatty alcohol, gives the primer its creamy, pleasant texture and prevents the skin from drying out under the silicone film.
