What we appreciate most about Treatments® is the authentic story behind it: the brand grew out of a Dutch family business that originally produced massage oils for wellness centers. About ten years ago, the next generation turned that into its own care line, so everyone could bring the spa feeling home. To this day, every product is developed and produced in-house, from the formula to the label. Each fragrance line, such as Ceylon, Mahayana, or Zhejiang, tells the story of a Far Eastern or exotic wellness ritual. So with Treatments® you're not just bringing home a care product, but a genuine slice of downtime.

All Treatments® products deliberately avoid parabens and mineral oils, relying instead on nourishing, mostly plant-based ingredients such as shea butter or essential fragrance oils. One difference from certified natural cosmetics: Treatments® doesn't carry an official natural cosmetics seal such as BDIH or Ecocert, and instead focuses clearly on sensory experience and scent. If a certified natural cosmetics seal matters to you, our range also includes alternatives such as CMD Naturkosmetik or Puremetics. You'll always find the exact INCI list for each product directly on its product page.

Treatments® formulas are designed for normal to dry skin, making them ideal for body oils, shower foam, scrubs, and moisturizing care. If you tend toward very sensitive or blemish-prone skin, test the products on a small area before applying them more broadly, since the fragrance-rich formulas can contain essential oils. Our Body Oils & Massage and Moisturizing Care products are particularly well suited for daily use.

Treatments®'s fragrance sticks (diffusers) consist of a scented liquid in a glass bottle that slowly evaporates through rattan sticks. Simply unpack, insert the sticks, and turn them after one to two days, that's how the scent develops best. Depending on room size and ventilation, one bottle typically lasts six to eight weeks. For an even more intense, longer-lasting scent, we recommend combining the sticks with a candle from our Room Fragrance range.

Cosmetics sold in the EU may not, in principle, be tested on animals, and that naturally applies to Treatments® as well. Whether individual ingredients such as beeswax are included depends on the specific product; the brand doesn't currently use a blanket vegan label. If certified vegan care matters to you, you'll find what you're looking for with Avril Cosmetics or Art of Vedas in our range. The Ceylon, Mahayana, Shinshiro, Zhejiang, Uyuni, and Oman fragrance lines differ in the complexity of the scent compositions and ingredients used. Richer oils containing sandalwood or patchouli are also reflected in the price. Gift boxes are worth it in almost every case: they bundle several products from one line at a lower total price than buying individually, and often include extras such as wellness vouchers. Since many Treatments® products work with intense essential oils, we generally recommend caution with sensitive skin, allergies, or during pregnancy, and suggest checking the INCI list beforehand and, if in doubt, consulting a doctor. For especially sensitive skin, our range includes Bioderma and Eucerin, two dermatologically tested alternatives specifically formulated for sensitive skin.

While Treatments® focuses mainly on intense fragrances and a luxurious at-home spa experience, Art of Vedas stands out with Ayurveda-inspired rituals, and Puremetics impresses with certified, vegan natural cosmetics completely free of artificial fragrances. If you're looking for more understated natural cosmetics with a focus on active ingredients, Uoga Uoga is a good alternative. For us, though, Treatments® remains the first choice whenever a product is meant above all to indulge the senses and create a genuine feel-good experience.
