NEWWELL Concealer Camouflage Paletteis a professional 3-shade color correction palettebased on the complementary color principle of makeup artistry – it solves the fundamental problem of all standard concealers: they layer over problem areas instead of neutralizing them. The three shades are developed according to the color wheel principle: Green (CI 77974 – Chromium Oxide)is the complementary color to red – it neutralizes redness, pimples, and skin irritations before foundation is applied. Salmon-Pinkis the complementary color to blue-purple – it breaks up the characteristic violet-blue undertone of dark circles under the eyes. Skin Tone Shadewith high CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide)coverage directly conceals scars, age spots, and significant imperfections. Polybutene as a film formerkeeps all three shades in place all day long without shifting or fading. The palette is applied BEFORE foundation – the color corrections completely disappear under the foundation, taking the problematic undertone with them. The result: true full coverage with less product instead of a cakey look from layering. 100% vegan, paraben-free, dermatologically tested – for all skin types including sensitive skin.

The Complementary Color Principle Explained

• Green vs. Red:Green and red are opposite each other on the color wheel – green pigments (Chromium Oxide) chemically neutralize red undertones in redness, pimples, and skin irritations. Result: no pink shimmer visible after foundation.
• Salmon/Orange vs. Blue-Purple:Salmon and orange, as complementary colors to blue and purple, break up the characteristic undertone of dark circles under the eyes – the violet-blue veil disappears, allowing standard skin-toned concealer to finish cleanly and with full coverage afterward.
• Order is Crucial:Color correction always BEFORE foundation – never after. Let correction dry for 30–60 seconds before applying foundation. Applying foundation first creates layers that rub against each other.

Application

• Step 1 – Choose the right shade:Green for redness, pimples, and irritated areas. Salmon-pink for dark circles and bluish discolorations. Skin-tone shade for spot application on scars, age spots, and prominent blemishes. Multiple shades can be used simultaneously on different areas.
• Step 2 – Apply thinly and precisely:Cover only the problem area – do not apply broadly. Dab thinly with a finger, small brush, or sponge applicator. Less is more – the color correction effect does not require a thick layer.
• Step 3 – Blend by dabbing:Gently blend the edges outwards until no hard line is visible – dab, do not rub in circles, so that the coverage is maintained and not wiped away.
• Step 4 – Let dry for 30 seconds:Allow the polybutene film to set, then apply foundation or concealer in your skin tone normally over it – the color correction will disappear completely and enhance the coverage.

Active Ingredients

• CI 77974 – Chromium Oxide Green: Green mineral oxide pigment – the key active ingredient of the green shade. As a complementary color to red, chromium oxide green neutralizes red undertones in redness, pimples, rosacea, and skin irritations according to the color wheel principle. After covering with foundation, no green tint is visible – only the neutralization of the red tone remains as an effect.
• CI 77891 – Titanium Dioxide: Mineral white pigment with the highest available opacity in cosmetics. Basic active ingredient of the skin tone shade – directly and opaquely covers scars, age spots, and significant imperfections without drying out the skin. Titanium dioxide is also a physical light diffuser that ensures an even, matte appearance.
• Polybutene (Film Former): Synthetic polymer as a film former – forms a flexible, adhesive film on the skin after drying that holds all three color corrections in place all day. Prevents the color correction from shifting, blending, or fading under the foundation – the crucial holding ingredient of the professional camouflage formula.
• Talc & Silicon Dioxide: Talc as the base carrier for all pigments for even color distribution and a soft powder texture. Silicon Dioxide scatters light evenly and provides a matte, non-shiny finish for the color correction – important so that the correction layer is not visible under foundation.
• Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: Vegetable triglyceride from coconut oil – combines all pigments into a creamy texture for precise, even application to problem areas. Gently nourishes the skin during wear and prevents delicate areas like the eye area from drying out.
• Magnesium Stearate: Magnesium salt of stearic acid – improves the adhesion of the color correction to the skin, gives a silky-soft texture upon application, and ensures even distribution of pigments during dabbing and blending.
