The Aleppo Mini Soap 5% Laurel Oil by Najel is the classic Aleppo soap in a set: 5 mini soaps of 20 g each – made from saponified olive oil and laurel oil (oil content: 95% olive oil, 5% laurel oil), without added fragrances.

Ideal for travel, as guest soap, for gifting or for trying out. For cleansing the face, body, and hands.

Handmade in Aleppo, Syria, according to a traditional recipe. Each piece may vary slightly in shape and color.

Aleppo soap is one of the oldest soaps in the world. Traditionally, olive oil is saponified with laurel oil in large cauldrons, the soap mass is poured onto the floor, cut into pieces, and then aged in the air for several months. During this process, the soap turns golden brown on the outside, while remaining olive green on the inside. The higher the proportion of laurel oil, the more intense its typical spicy aroma is.

What does the percentage of laurel oil mean?
It indicates how much laurel oil was saponified in relation to the olive oil. 5% is mild and suitable for everyday use, 12% is well-suited for combination skin, and 30–40% are the varieties with the highest laurel oil content. This soap contains 5% laurel oil.

How long does a bar of soap last?
This depends on usage. If the soap can dry well between uses (soap dish or magnetic soap holder), it will last significantly longer.

Directions

• Moisten the skin with water.
• Lather the soap between your hands or apply directly to the face, hands, or body.
• Gently massage in and rinse thoroughly with water.
• Pat the skin dry with a towel.

Tip: Store the soap in a dry place between uses, for example on a soap dish – this will make it last longer.

Note: Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water.
