Use as a hair mask

Option 1 – Infusion:Pour plenty of boiling water over the powder, leave to steep for 30 minutes, strain and use the tulsi infusion on its own or use it to mix other herbs or clay powders.
Option 2 – Paste:Mix the powder with boiling water to form a yogurt-like consistency. Add other herbs or clay powders if desired. Cover the container and leave to rest for 20 minutes.
Apply the paste to dry or slightly damp scalp and massage in with gentle circular motions. Work it through the lengths of the hair as well.
Cover the hair with plastic wrap and leave on for 20–50 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly, then wash again with a mild, diluted shampoo.

Use as a face mask

Apply the paste (as described above) to a cleansed face.
Leave on for 15 minutes.Do not let the mask dry out completely – moisten with water or a hydrosol as needed.
Rinse thoroughly.
