Cocoa Butter(Theobroma cacao) is cold-pressed and extracted in its unrefined state from the seeds of the cacao tree native to the tropical forests of Central and South America – with an intense, characteristic cacao aroma. Rich in Vitamin E, cocoa butter has strong antioxidant properties, stimulates collagen synthesis, restores skin tone and elasticity, and is particularly suitable for mature, normal, and dry skin, as well as for lips and body care as a protective, nourishing, and soothing balm. It is also used as a slimming butter, as it is said to stimulate fat burning. At room temperature, cocoa butter is solid; when slightly warmed, it can be easily mixed with plant oils or essential oils and is suitable as a natural thickener in the production of personalized cosmetics. In the hair, it acts as a revitalizing, protective hair mask and leave-in conditioner– ideal for curly, dry, or sun- or treatment-damaged hair.
